Sleek is fast becoming one of my favourite make up brands, the products just seem to stand out in their gorgeous chic black packaging and the quality for the price is amazing!!

When I saw this eyeshadow palette I couldn't help but purchase it, I am a big fan of neutral colours, and also enjoy a brown smoky eye, perfect!!!

Sleek Pout Polish in Peach Perfection

Sleek is a recent new-found love of mine, especially the brow kit which I now swear by for my everyday as well as evening make up, it is just flawless!!
I recently purchased the pout polish as I had heard many things about it from youtube gurus and other blogs I read so thought I would go ahead and buy one myself.

The colour I went for is Peach Perfection 964 and the first thing that I love about this is the size, the wideness ensures that you can proper get your finger into the pot unlike little pots of lip balm such as Carmex or the Body Shop.

As with any lip balm type product, this has a gorgeous vanilla scent which makes me just want to eat it up it smells so good !
The packaging is also well-built as the lid fastens on beautifully with no chance of it coming undone in your make-up bag, which I loooove !

The consistency of the product is smooth and it glides onto the lips easily giving a sheer tint of colour, which is great for when you don't want your lips to look too overdone!
This product is great for conditioning the lips as well as making them look gorgeous!
At £4.95 I would highly recommend this product as it will last a long time due to the little amount you need to get coverage, if you're looking for a more pigmented product however this is not for you.
And I tend to get about 1-2 hours wear out of this before I need to reapply, especially in this cold weather when my lips are a little dryer than usual.

Lana Del Rey make up

So recently, well since I've actually been able to put eye make up on again (I had conjunctivitis), I've become obsessed literally with watching make up tutorials.
So last night I was up till about 2 watching another of my favourite make up tutorial vloggers, I have many, Pixi2woo, whose channel can be found here [pixi2woo]

There are so many looks I want to try from her collection, so today I decided to give one a go myself, and chose the Lana Del Rey inspired look.

As I am not made of money (oh how I wish I was) I had to use cheaper products than the mac make up she is fortunate enough to have !!
These are the products I used:

  • Rimmel lasting finish foundation in shade 200 Soft Beige
  • Sleek brow kit in Light #817
  • MUA eyeshadow in Shade 1 - Pearl
  • Urban Decay eyeshadow in Stray Dog
  • Rimmel eyeshadow in a dark brown, sorry it's from a palette so i'm unsure of the colour
  • A lilac eyeshadow from the Marks & Spencers perfection palette
  • Urban Decay eyeshadow in Oil Slick
  • Rimmel Scandeleyes mascara in Black
  • MUA eyeliner in Snow White
  • Maybelline gel eyeliner in Black
  • Bourjous mineral radiance powder in 02 Vanille
  • A similar shade of light brown blush Tanya uses in the video from the M&S palette
  • Rimmel match perfection concealer in 010 Ivory
  • Rimmel lasting finish lipstick in 250 Birthday Suit
This is look I ended up with is in the pictures below, I personally think they're very similar, however the eyeshadows I used are not as matte as the ones Tanya uses in her video but I love a bit of shimmer !!

Yes my t-shirt does say 'Mrs Prince Harry' I love the Royals, ahhaha !!
Anyway, have a lovely day, it's snowing finely in Liverpool hope it's not snowing where you are (well unless you like snow, I hate the stuff).

U.N.I OOTD and my new favourite make-up products !

Heyy, been ultra busy recently with essays and exams, but now I have plenty of free time to do whatever I wish, so here I am doing a blog post.

Ill start with some fabulous things I have bought recently, in the form of make-up of course !!
I bought the Sleek brow kit I have been after for months and finally got round to buying it, I bought it in the Light #817 and don't think i'll ever go back to just using my Rimmel pencil.
The wax and powder combination means it stays on all day and gives such a clean neat look to my eyebrows, simply in love and at £7.99 who can blame me!
I also looked at the other products from Sleek, seen as they are rather cheap for such good quality items, and this tinted lip conditioner caught my eye. It is called Pout Polish and it contains SPF which is fab, and it comes in the most gorgeous of colours, I was in a toss-up between the Powder Pink, Raspberry Rhapsody and Peach Perfection.
After much umming and aarring I went for the peach and I again am in love, it gives just enough coverage for a slight colour to the lips ! Gorgeous and it's such a big tub for less than £5 I was well impressed.
After looking around all the different make-up sections I decided I wanted to treat myself to a new lipstick (I am a bit lipstick mental at the moment) and was more than happy when I found this lipstick which is my new fave of all time. Bubblegum number 6 of Collection 2000 is my favourite pink lipstick EVER. I don't think I will ever not own it, especially cause it's only £2.99 and stays on for so long, I was so shocked when it stayed on for nearly the whole day of uni I had 10-4 !! This is me trying to show you the colour but I am only using a silly webcam, so I apologise for the crap quality.

In terms of my outfit today I was wearing;
  • Red checkered shirt, Topshop
  • Black leggings, New Look
  • Skull scarf, Primark
  • Denim jacket with fur lining, Topshop
  • Peace bracelet, Topshop
  • Jesus bracelet, Ibiza
  • String beaded bracelet, from my daddy from Hong Kong
  • Skull ring, Primark
  • Red studded diamond earrings, Avon
  • Curved gold earstud, eBay

As you can see I tossed my hair up into a topknot because I had to get ready in 20mins this morning, which was crazy I actually managed it, and in case you were wondering my nail varnish is Barry M in Blue Moon, gorgeous gorgeous colour !!

Hope you have a lovely day chickens xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
